Help me spend money on a camera for Drama Dept

Not my money this time. About £100 to spend and I cant find anything id be happy with. Has anyone bought one recently and been impressed with it?

I know it's significantly over budget, but I recently bought a Sony NEX C3. It's a fabulous camera, it's low-light capability is so good I've only had to use the flash once or twice, even indoors. I would imagine that this feature is essential for drama shots.

 

I bought it as a discontinued model from Argos for something like £200 ish. It has a flip screen so you can get shots from the hip or overhead.

I'm a Canon DSLR user, but I use this Sony for everything now.

We got a Nikon Coolpix S3100 a while ago and were pleasantly surprised. ~£45-60 (ish?)

Agree, great camera, I bought one for my daughter for her birthday.
