Google Apps for Education - Waiting Time?

Hi all

 

New to the forums but signed up after finding many interesting threads and solutions here.

 

I've just signed our school up for Google Apps and made sure all the right info and boxes were ticked to indicated we were a school etc. However, it's been over a week now and I'm still using a non-educational Google Apps - i.e there are ads (and no option to disable), and offers to upgrade to business edition, limited to 10 users etc.

 

How can I go about speeding this process up?

I've done a few and the timescale varied from a few days to a couple of weeks, but that was a while ago. I don't think the trail/free version allows you to raise a support query but you could try 0845 600 0278 which is the support line.

I tried the number and it asks for a PIN - something I don't have - in order to access the support.

 

I signed up on the 2nd Sept, so may be I will wait a few more days. I want to get going with it! Have made all the CNAME and MX record changes.
