oxide54 Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 Basically i'm testing SCCM 2012 in my lab environment so as i'm adding stuff to the task sequence and re-imaging the machine i'm getting the error "No task sequences available for this computer please ensure that you have at least one task sequence advertised." if i delete the computer and re-import it, it will execute the task sequence, on sccm2007 we were in mixed mode so had to deal with conflicting records, is it something similar to this? where the SMS guid has changed or we have two entries with the same Bios GUID but different SCCM guids? the console in 2012 seems to hide a lot more than 2007 did, so i suspect something is lurking in the database but i can't see it,
FN-GM Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 If you have conflicting records Heartbeat Discovery should be able to to manage that for you.
oxide54 Posted September 11, 2012 Author Posted September 11, 2012 does it still have conficting records in 2012
oxide54 Posted September 11, 2012 Author Posted September 11, 2012 does sccm 2012 still have the concept of conflicting records? and if so where is it in the console
