moodle my courses section

anyone had this problem with front page of moodle?

 

does it on all the themes i've tried.

 

my courses section doesn't print the text properly?

 

thought I'd ask before i get hacking the php/css

sorry really did look for the vle section, i've had about an hours sleep as i had to fix lots of power cut shannigans last night.

Have you tried updating to 2.2.4 - We are on this version and dont see this on ours.

its compatibility mode in IE causing it. the button to turn it on / off doesn't appear for students though, so i will have to hunt through GPO's.

 

if you (or anyone else) knows how to force it off for a specific site that would be handy. I'm sure i could doctype tag the begining of the PHP file but that would probably break every upgrade.

I set "enable standards mode in ie for local intranet zone" in group policy on a user policy applied to the students and it worked
