mrbios Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 I'm guessing i'm unlikely to find much help here as i doubt anyone else has bothered to use server 2012 for this yet but i'll give this a shot anyway... I've got WDS setup exactly the same as i have it in 2008R2, same unattended files, same settings, same images, same boot images (all exported from 2008R2 and imported into this one) now the machines image fine and the image specific unattended file applies correctly but the WDSClientUnattend for the initial setup (drive partitions, login to the server etc) doesn't. No errors, just appears as if it ignores it altogether. Anyone got any suggestions? Naturally google isn't much use right now
southstrand Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Sorry to dig up an old thread, but did you ever figure this out? I'm in the same boat and have wasted 7 hours at this point trying to get WDSClientUnattend.xml to work on Server 2012.

Squuiid Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 Aaargh! Have just spent hours on this too, same situation, exported WIMs and using the unattends from 2008R2 on WDS 2012 R2 and it just won't apply the unattend.xml on the PE boot environment. Anyone have any ideas?
