Accounting Software for Macs

Morning Folks

 

Right then, currently I have a WHMCS installation which looks after all my web clients quite nicely, and I can invoice other clients through it to, however I'm looking to get a bit more streamlined with my end of year accounts and what not, so I'm after recommendations for Accounting Software for Mac OSX.

 

Ideally I need to keep track of incomings, outgoings and be able to produce nice EOY reports for completing my tax return etc, but if it does invoicing and stuff like that too, then bonus. It's all the fairly standard double entry bookkeeping kind of stuff really, so I thought I'd appeal to the Mac heads out there who might have something they use for themselves already.

Accountz is about your best option on Mac, you could also use the online versions of Quickbooks or Sage, If you want to do everything you've mentioned then you need the pro version of Accountz, you can download a trial version from their website, Award Winning Accounting Software for Mac and Windows | Bookkeeping Software | Accountz. It is a UK company so does support the UK tax systems properly unlike some US based software:rolleyes:

If you want free, then GnuCash is installable on Mac, it's pretty good but you have to be careful setting it up for a UK business.

its all cloud based and everything but I have even recommended it to people as at least in NZ it can automate large amounts of it like getting a live readonly feed of transactions from your bank - once you authorize it.

 

I used it for a large organisation that is rather old school and has no central server or anything. It has phone apps and other services that can integrate into it giving you all sorts of features like inventory, webstore, payroll and other weird stuff.

Yeah, I've come across GnuCash, but it seems a little fiddly as you say.
