I've been thinking that if the Pi could act as a http server and a RDP client it could actually be used to really cheaply upgrade projectors to network projectors that would work out of the box with Windows Vista/7 Developing a Windows Network Projector (Windows Embedded CE 6.0) it is just a RDP client with a web control interface. A Pi could probably pull the job off for practically nothing and with the serial output/input of the Pi you could control most projectors via their serial ports too.

@SYNACK - you know you want one :) Your a proper Edugeek - not like these other ones over here who just know how to turn computers off and on again (and with a bit of knowledgee about SCCM/AD/GPO and other minor things..... ) :)

I just tried the CEC support and it worked fine with my Samsung TV. I must admit I was surprised it worked without any fiddling!
