has Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 Hi all, We recently got 2 extra projectors fitted to our assembly hall. In total we now have 3 all connected to a single laptop displaying the same content. Is it possible to project 3 different videos to the projectors from a single laptop/desktop. We basically want to have powerpoints running on the side projectors and have video on the middle. There is a possiblilty of using raspberry pi and hooking it up to the network and have vnc on it. This would allow the computer to remote into it. But is there a another way. Thanks in advance for your help. Has
SYNACK Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 Multi headed GPU with three outputs or multiple computers would do this easily.
has Posted August 24, 2012 Author Posted August 24, 2012 We can only get one computer as the stand can only support one. I will look into the graphics cards with multiple gpu. Thanks for getting back.
Oaktech Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 also consider the Matrox triple head to go unit...
Alis_Klar Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 Sorry to zombie this thread but Synergy - Mouse and keyboard sharing software would be perfect for this along with 3 mini PC's such as LenovoM72e Tiny. If you need to advance the powerpoints manually you could get 2x Presenter Remotes such as LogiTech Wireless Presenter R400.
Andrew_C Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 Not used it, but I've had Screen Monkey recommended as software for dealing with controlling the content.
