I used to work as a cashier at a petrol station in my youth ( a long time ago...) and my mate (a clever lad, but deficient in common sense) who also worked there set the (plastic) paper bin alight by accident with a cigarette. Instead of putting it out with our fire extinguisher, he carried the bin out onto the forecourt and dropped it. I dived for cover behind the sweets rack, expecting an atomic bomb sized fireball - but actually nothing happened at all, except it burned itself out - apparently its not as easy to set fire to this stuff as films would have you believe.
