Theldron Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 Hi all, I hope somebody can give me some advice on this as i am close to throwing a my toys out of the pram. I have created and captured a windows 7 image and sysprepped. When i deploy the image everything goes fine until the install has completed then the PCs keep restarting on the Windows logo. The first 3 PCs I deployed this on worked fine but every PC since i get the restart issue. I have tried sysprepping and recapturing the image again, to no avail. I pressed F8 and disabled automatic restart. I get the BOD with error code 0x0000007b. I am trying to find Windows 7 storage controller drivers but this is proving difficult as they are older RM Ascend machines. Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks Sean
Theldron Posted August 13, 2012 Author Posted August 13, 2012 ***Update on this I have deployed a completely different image to a completely differenent set of computers and I am still getting the restart issue. Could it be the task sequence or MDT? Sean
Theldron Posted August 14, 2012 Author Posted August 14, 2012 Further update - a set of computers that I was having trouble with that I had already managed to load windows 7 on 3 of them, so I exported the drivers using Driver Magician and imported those into MDT. I edited the task sequence to use these drivers and it worked. So it is a driver issue, worse come to the worse I will have to find each model of RM machine we have and manually install Windows 7 on to get the drivers. Sean 1
