cc4 wallpapers not being displayed

Morning all,

 

Got a strange one here, we have created a different colour background for each user type and for some reason or another, we can only get the staff user background to appear. I have checked the settings against all the others and nothing stands out as to why the desktop isn't changing? Has anyone any pointers?

I had quite a long call open about this - we had some orphaned registry settings that had to be removed, and some settings in the system gpo that isn't accessible via console that had to be switched off too. PM me if you want the call reference to log your own call.
