FN-GM Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Hi, I havent downloaded an MSI of flash in a while. I am on the Adobe Flash Player Distribution page where you can download the MSI installers, as shown in the attached. I cant seem to find a x64 version on the page. Am i doing something silly here? Thanks
andypitts Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 (edited) It looks like the 32-bit and 64-bit installers have been combined into a single package. The last version I downloaded was 11.1 and for this there were 2 separate installers. It must have changed very recently. Edited July 31, 2012 by andypitts 1

FN-GM Posted July 31, 2012 Author Posted July 31, 2012 Thanks guys, i thought i was loosing my mind ha ha
Michael Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Adobe have done this since Flash 11.3. There are pros and cons though, as it means you're deploying a 10MB file instead of a 5MB file. If you're running a mixed x86 and x64 environment, then it's ideal. Adobe also introduced a proper silent upgrader with 11.3. This sets up a Scheduled Task and creates the updater service.
