Hi

Is there anyway to change the screen resolution on all our cc4 machines automatically? I forgot to change it in the build template before we rebuilt half the school :p Still in holiday mode!

Thanks

Hi

On a CC4.3 (may include others) after build in the C:\RM Folder you should find RMSetRes or SetRes.exe.

From RMMC you can right click a machine and click run command, you can then put in the command for setres and enter the res for the machine, (im not sure of the exact param's used but I have done it in the past and it worked) can look for you next week when I go into work.

Hope it helps a little.

If you wouldn't mind that would be great thanks.

Assuming these are Windows 7 machines, I've had difficulty using tools to set the display resolution when the process isn't initiated by a logged in user through the shell. I presume this is some kind of security feature for program execution, even running them in the context of the user in a login script doesn't work. I was using this Display Changer « 12noon, maybe the RM tool will work differently though.
