Guest TheLibrarian Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Whenever I start reading a thread with a moderate number of posts the 10 second timer kicks in and effectively hides the original post and the next few replies. Maybe it is just Chrome (I'm using V20.0.1132.47), I've not tried other browsers.
PICNIC Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Same here using Chrome, its fine in IE9 but who wants to use that!
elsiegee40 Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Another frustrated Chrome user... if it can't be removed, can we at least have the option to change the refresh time interval please?
Gatt Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Chrome user here and tbh I've not noticed the threads refreshing at all
PICNIC Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Hmmm, has this been dealt with? I see the 10 second reload thing above this thread, but not in others. The thread which was doing it yesterday afternoon (http://www.edugeek.net/forums/behind-red-door/98203-oi-apprentice-build-us-entirely-new-network-ground-up-kthx.html) is now OK
FN-GM Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 (edited) Another post about the refresh by me - http://www.edugeek.net/forums/comments-suggestions/98200-post-refresh.html Edited July 12, 2012 by FN-GM
ZeroHour Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 I have tweaked the settings a bit but I am hoping to deal with the issue better soon, watch this space and let me know how the changed settings go. I have not personally had the issue yet strangely and I run chrome main channel. 1
Heebeejeebee Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 I mentioned this on day one and it was stil doing it yesterday in IE9. HBJB
