I have set up my own local computer support company in my own time (evenings and weekends) but I also offer custom built PCs to customers and have recently been approached by a few people asking for prices.

I was just wondering where people use to buy their hardware from as I don't want to be missing out on some cheaper parts and therefore not offering the customer the cheapest price I can. I tend to use http://www.microdirect.com quite a lot as they have a good selection but they don't seem to be as cheap as they used to be.

Whoever is currently cheapest including delivery, and for personal stuff maybe also who does cash back. Ebuyer usually top the bill for parts but scan are usually very close behind.

Aria are quiet good for some prices but you can be stung on delivery.

Novatech are another one if its not on the website you could also speak with a member of staff.

I used Ebuyer for a long while as their prices tended to be cheaper. On the last few computers i have built though, Scan have been about £50 cheaper.

Ebuyer, but it's often worth checking Amazon.co.uk - got some bargains on GPUs and such there before (as sold by Amazon themselves, not iffy marketplace sellers)
