LordNewton Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 Has anyone had problems with the System State Failing on Windows 2k8 R2 servers running SIMS since a recent upgrade? Unless I disable the Windows Internal Database service the backup fails (sorry havent got the error msg) which of course stops WSUS
SYNACK Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 Are you using advanced options to do a VSS full backup rather than a copy backup, it could be tripping up on some transaction logs or something.
