timbo343 Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 I have been asked to look into autodesk for our machines. I was wondering if anyone has used or is using this on their network and if there is anything I should be looking out for? I have had a look at the system requirements and most of our machines do meet the standard but i was wondering how well it runs too. Thanks
john Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 Which bit of Autodesk? That is like saying who runs Adobe or Microsoft at school
timbo343 Posted July 5, 2012 Author Posted July 5, 2012 Ahh its like that is it... I think he is wanting to use autodesk inventor.
Soulfish Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 I've got a big pile of Autodesk stuff sitting next to me. Have a look at the "Academy" range of AutoDesk suites. It's a bit like the various Adobe collections, but they're aimed at different parts of the curriculum. We've got AutoDesk Design Academy and that includes inventor. We also have AutoDesk Animation academy for our IT/Media departments
timbo343 Posted July 5, 2012 Author Posted July 5, 2012 Does it run ok? What are the file sizes like and i guess the processing power needs to be fairly high too
