As the topic says, is this possible? Stalwart timetabler doesn't get on with T6 (and will soon have to due to going entirely 64bit so no T4 available)

What she is hoping is to create timetables in the meantime on her XP laptop with T4 and import them into T6. Is this possible?

Believe it's possible if you waste a lot of time poking it, but why would you want too? Nova-T4 goes in the new release anyway. Move to T6.

We know. When I say stalwart I don't mean doesn't like, I mean has threatened walking out of job unless T4 is there :bangheadonwallrepeatedlyuntileyespopoutofears:

Just found a way, anyway. Old version remaining on laptop, do it in T4, export routintes to T6 onto a memory stick (keeping it under 8 characters..) then a straight load dataset in T6.

I've already made it clear T4 is going (in fact, I've already said it's been "gone" for the last few years but for some reason is still hanging around like a fart in a lift) but sometimes you just need to actually be able to keep the peace :)

 - i remember telling the admin ladies at my last school over 6 years ago, that it was going. I think they retired with a smile on their faces that they kept using it, despite what i told them.

I would import it into T6, then tell Mr(s). Stalwart to look at it in T6 and try to edit it. It's not just a one time a year job, it's going to need constant fiddling, so get them in the habit of using it, even if it's by force. Once the link disappears in Summer upgrade you don't want a riot on your hands.
