It won't actually happen which is sort of a blessing and a shame. If it interferes with the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, not many will be happy. It'd be entirely a show piece like Monaco, and I'm not entirely convinced that it'd make for much of a "race" But it's just an advert more than anything despite Ecclestone giving a thumbs up.

This has to happen as well as Silverstone. As much as I love the Valencia track (been there, driven it) London would piss all over it for a European GP

Don't think the circuit will be the same as some parts of it wouldn't pass FIA safety standards, but I'm pretty sure there will be a London GP in the not too distant future, once Bernie wants something then it generally happens.

Intersting idea but apart from some straigh run off's at some corners there doesn't seem to be much in the way of safety space what happens when a car hits the barriers how are they going to clear it?

mobile cranes not like an f1 car is that heavy. Thats how it is with street circuits and tbh monoco should not as a race be on te calendar anymore its just not suitable for modern cars the same i feel with any london gp (though the m25 is wide enough lol let em lap that

It won't happen. Monaco just continues to happen because of the sheer amount of money it brings in; something London can't possibly do. Monaco would never happen if brought up now, nor would this.

Logic and common sense would agree. Admiralty arch would be lethal but...

...once Bernie wants something then it generally happens.

I would be a fantastic event.
