NikChillin Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Does anyone know why my table in IE9 is much larger and distorted but is fine in Google chrome and Firefox? I am using Dreamweaver8
bladedanny Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Most probably the way IE handles padding and margins. I think Firefox and chrome have their padding outside the table rows and cols and IE does padding inside. Sorry for the vague reply but it's something like that If you post a link or your CSS I'd be happy to take a look. Hope it helps, Dan
NikChillin Posted June 19, 2012 Author Posted June 19, 2012 There isn't much there as I have just started to create it. I have googled the problem but haven't found a solution. Images/scene.jpg
bladedanny Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 Hi, It seems to display fine in IE9 on my laptop. Is the issue when viewing in IE itself or in IE preview tab in dreamweaver? If it's in dreamweaver what does it look like when viewed in IE?
NikChillin Posted June 20, 2012 Author Posted June 20, 2012 The table row at the top containing the picture sits at the bottom of the page rather than around the picture, it was previewed from Dreamweaver but the other browsers are fine. My OU tutor will mark it previewing it in Firefox, says it all really!
