[sims] Installing Lesson Monitor Licence Activator

Hi

 

Ive been asked to install lesson monitor but capita have just sent me a zip file called licence activator - would anyone kindly help in explaining how i go about installing this?

I think that is a license patch to use with DBupgrade, if i remember correctly

Cheers ive found dbupgrade but its asking me of database details - any idea where i can find them ?

ah now that would be asking.

 

usually \ (Instance usually SIMS2008) the database is 9 times out of 10 SIMS (you can double check these in connect.ini)

 

the username and password needs to be your SA username and the password, if you do not have the SA password there was this thread about it http://www.edugeek.net/forums/mis-systems/95661-nightmare-trying-log-dbattach.html#post832384 I do not know if they managed to get it working
