MattHarwood Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 Hi all I'm needing to deploy SIMs and FMS for what I've just realised is the first time! Apparently you can deploy a fresh copy through Solus 3? Does anyone know how to do this please? The workstation has the Solus 3 agent. Many thanks Matt

Many thanks Matt I should of been more patient - adding the workstation as a SIMs workstation in Solus automatically deploys, yehah!
MattHarwood Posted May 25, 2012 Author Posted May 25, 2012 Nice isn't it? It is! But I've hit another snag... Upon launching SIMs it asks where to load the connect.ini from - I choose one on a mapped drive. The window closes, nothing happens. Reopening SIMs presents the same selection window... any ideas? Thanks!
speckytecky Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 From Solus I'm pretty sure it picks up the 'where from directory etc' on it's own and all you have to do is enter an Admin user name and password.

Two options, quick fix, r-click SIMS .net and run as administrator, otherwise the settings won't stick. Proper solution, go into SOLUS3 > Settings > Workstation settings > then check you have selected a connect.ini for SIMS with the correct settings. Press the Send to agents button
