Hi

First monday back after half term and everything is going wrong. The major problem is that some of pupils and staff outlooks dont seem to be working they opne outlook and get this message "cannot start microsoft office outlook. unable to open the outlook window. the set of folders could not be opened" I have tried googling it but with no avail. I have checked that they have their own home drive mapped which stores their pst file the exchange server is fine as my email and most of the staff emails are fine.

Any ideas??

Cheers

You will see this message if Outlook cannot access the PST file. Are you sure the file server hosting the home folder is accessible from the client?

Yep home folder is defineatly accessible as it is the curric file server and the user can access their work fine.

We are using exchange server 2003 and outlook 2003.

The weird thing is that it has been fine its just started this morning.
