[closed] bug/error: Image tag unable to retrieve and reference locally

When trying to put an image into a thread from URL, with "Retrieve remote file and reference locally" ticked, get the following error in a popup:

error: Upload failed due to failure writing temporary file.

Unticking the box fixes the problem.

 

Permissions on a temp folder somewhere, perhaps?

Should be fixed, it appears that something has prevented php using the systems default and needed to be manually set now.
