Supplying power to a UPS

Bit confused on howto supply power to a Smart 5000va ups .

 

Do these need to be wired in by an electrician ? , i have hard wired it in directly to the UPS . Im assuming though i cant power it via a normal plug socket with a 13a fuse ? its connected to our mains which has a circuit breaker down stairs .

 

Any help ? as all our smaller UPS's ( which this is replacing) , just plug into a socket ! .

The large ones need to be wired in properly by an electrician.
