So we have a screen saver setup on out lap machines on our sharepoint server. It's basically just a folder with images stored and we point the windows slide show to it. Is there a way to include this in the unattend.xml file. I know i see the option for screen savers but it says only default windows screen savers work.

do you mean the sysprep unattended.xml file?

Easier solution would be to set this via Group Policy rather then unattended.xml. You may not be planning on changing it in the short term but in the long run it might be easier.

I wish i knew more about GPO. I have no access to our AD server but if I could ask the admin something specific he might be able to help.

So in theory I could group all these lab machines right? and then push things to them by GPO?

You can do it via user or computer - if you want to apply to user's then apply to the users ou. If you want to apply to computers you will need to enable User Loopback processing under Computer Configuration\Policies\Administrative Templates\System\Group Policy - set this to merge.

The setting is under User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Control Panel\Display for screen saver
