MrWu Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 Hi all; I'm not 100 percent familiar with Frog (I've taken over a school network for just over 4 months) so wondering any good experts here can have any good advice. Basically, our email with Frog had stopped working since last week, no change made to Exchange (2010),no changes to Frog but we did create a test system for internet access through our Sonicwall(looked after by our ISP) and the time it failed. 1) Log on to Frog, send an email to our the school, my yahoo, gmail, gets nothing. Emails sent to a Frog email address, again nothing but may get a delayed NDR. 2) Example I had an isolated case today of a teacher sending an email to a student and getting a bounce back days later: I'm sorry to have to inform you that your message could not be delivered to one or more recipients. It's attached below. For further assistance, please send mail to postmaster. If you do so, please include this problem report. You can delete your own text from the attached returned message. The mail system : mail transport unavailable 3) We also get a confirmation email sent to out room booking system that frog relays to our school email, and we are starting to get the following NDR (trapped as junkmail through our firewall) lReceived: from frogdemo.com ([10x.20x.9x.2x]) by mail3.aflex.net (AFLEX) with SMTP; Tue, 08 May 2012 17:36:27 +0000 Received: by frogdemo.com (Postfix) id 6EAA1224123; Tue, 8 May 2012 17:39:38 +0100 (BST) Date: Tue, 8 May 2012 17:39:38 +0100 (BST) From: [email protected] (Mail Delivery System) Subject: Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender To: [email protected] Auto-Submitted: auto-replied MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: multipart/report; report-type=delivery-status; boundary="87D07224151.1336495178/frogdemo.com" Message-Id: <[email protected]> X-Mlf-KeyWords: transport, postmaster, sender, mail, report, delivered, attached, unavailable, delete,so X-Mlf-Policy: Fake NDR X-Mlf-Language-Detected: NoLanguageFilter_english X-Mlf-Connecting-IP: 109.204.98.21 X-Mlf-Country-Code: GB X-Mlf-Threat: policy X-Mlf-Threat-Detailed: policy;-;Fake NDR;policy X-Mlf-UniqueId: i201205081736270012682 X-Mlf-License: BS__A_ This is a MIME-encapsulated message. --87D07224151.1336495178/frogdemo.com Content-Description: Notification Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii This is the mail system at host frogdemo.com. Many Thanks
MrWu Posted May 9, 2012 Author Posted May 9, 2012 All sorted. It turned out to be the Frog inbuilt antivirus scanner service needing a restart, that stopped mail from flowing.
