andyturpie Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 Afternoon, We have currently set up our live@edu email admin account which catches banned words and phrases. I myself access my edu account through Outlook 2010 and I have full mailbox rights to the email admin account, so that mailbox appears below my personal mailboxes. The captured emails hit the inbox and I can open each mail to accept or reject delivery of it, but when I click either, I get a bounce back message telling me I don't have the permissions to perform that action (with full mailbox rights!). The message I am vetting then just disappears into thin air, no trace whatsoever! not in junk, sent or outbox of any account! But when I log into the web account it behaves properly. I am stumped on this one guys and gals and any pointers would be great Cheers!
andyturpie Posted May 3, 2012 Author Posted May 3, 2012 Hi Plexer, our LA are our support and it maybe that there needs to be a bit of powershell scripting to give me send as permissions on the admin account as this is totaly different to full mailbox permissions. In the process of looking into it, but will keep updated!
EduTech Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 If you still get problems, drop the guys on Live@Edu a tweet on twitter as they are pretty helpful also. James.
