Hi Guys,

We're currently having a problem deploying IPP printers across the school and I can't for the life of me get it to work correctly. This is the script that I've got so far:

rundll32 printui.dll,PrintUIEntry /ga /b "p901-1mon" /if /f "\\SERVER\SHARE\hpc300xc.inf" /r "//PRINTSERVER:631/printers/p901-1mon" /m "HP LaserJet P3005 PCL 6"

Note that there is actually "http:" infront of the PRINTSERVER bit but I don't have enough posts to post links apparently....

Our current setup is a Debian print server using CUPS + Pykota requiring authentication. The problem is.... how do we set the authentication. It seems to default to 'anonymous user' and just gives an access denied error.

Should we just ditch this idea and try deploying with GPO? Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Sorry that's my fault - typing mistake, in the script with the actual server URL it's all correct! Don't get any errors on running the script. It just won't print...

In Printers & Faxes clicking on the printer properties gives an access denied error. Printing from Word gives a weird insufficient memory error, on multiple computers.
