FN-GM Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Hi, We have a wilcard certificate for our domain. I wish to import this into exchange. The guides i have seen to import it but it involves generating a CSR. I already have the certificate for our domain and the CA intermediate one. What would i do in this case please? Thanks
IKWeb Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Hi, Are you not just able to make the CSR, and then just import your wildcard over the top? I have never done it with a wildcard cert, so cant 100% say that would work.
Arthur Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 I think this should work... $certificate = Get-Content -Path X:\YourCert.cer -Encoding Byte -ReadCount 0 Import-ExchangeCertificate -FileData $certificate Get-ExchangeCertificate -DomainName mail.example.net | Enable-ExchangeCertificate -Services IIS,SMTP # Find the thumbprint of your certificate... Get-ExchangeCertificate # ... and use it in the following command Enable-ExchangeCertificate -Thumbprint CF61E66A6BE1A286471B30DFCEA1126F6BC7DCBB -Services IIS,SMTP
