Evening,

As I sit here wondering around the site I wonder who else is online and how it would be nice to speak to them. I'm sure there used to be a chat client as part of Edugeek - but how about integrating one into the site?

I don't know how easy it is to do but this looked interesting: PHP chat software, Footer chat, In-page chat software | CometChat and it works on vBulletin.

I'm sure there are other methods around as well.

Regards

Gareth

I both approve and don't approve of this...

On the one hand, it's a cool idea. I'm guessing it could also work as live tech support...

On the other hand... Some staff here have a problem telling the difference between forums and chat rooms... Adding a chat room will:

A) Confuse them further

and B) make them try to get me fired for going on chat rooms... [despite the fact that it's work related and not the type of chat room they're thinking of.]
