I am a very happy bunny today ( probably until I get to school ) as I have just discovered that the broadband fairies have doubled my speed over night!

 

 

And to think I was starting to doubt Mr Bolt and his prediction of March/April for my upgrade...

"Fairies" is probably the appropriate word for Virgin. Kind of like the fairies in Hellboy 2 (all mouth and teeth).

 

Glad to see you've got a nice boost - I'll be suitably boosted when Virgin get off their backside and let me out of their barely enforcable crap contracts so I can go to an ISP that cares.

Hey I don't need an ISP that cares...just one that keeps upgrading me every couple of years with no appreciable price increase with a consistently fast connection that has only been down a few times in the years I have been with them (and NTL before that). I am now on only my second modem as the last one was replaced only at the weekend with a new shiny one.

 

Oh and in my experience on the two occasions I have needed to call them they have been very helpful. The last call was last week when I realised that my connection was playing up...one call and two days later (they offered me earlier visits but I was not in) a man (well boy in my eyes ) arrived and replaced the modem...

I am amazed...arrived at school and got thanked for my help with a lesson yesterday...and now the sun has appeared so my good mood may survive the day yet
