bishopsgarthstockton Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 Is any one having trouble accessing Google? We are getting an error message from them We're sorry... ... but your query looks similar to automated requests from a computer virus or spyware application. To protect our users, we can't process your request right now. We'll restore your access as quickly as possible, so try again soon. In the meantime, if you suspect that your computer or network has been infected, you might want to run a virus checker or spyware remover to make sure that your systems are free of viruses and other spurious software. We apologize for the inconvenience, and hope we'll see you again on Google.
bishopsgarthstockton Posted May 25, 2007 Author Posted May 25, 2007 had to type a code in to get to the page, how odd
tscnmuk Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 We had that a while ago. Our RBC is trying to get registered by google as an ISP to attempt to stop this, your's may be doing the same. The problem occurs because of the vast amounts of google access atempts that will be comming from your service providor. Tom
localzuk Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 Yep, had it here too. Also had to put a code in to deal with it.
Geoff Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 Your RBC proxy IP has been flagged by Google as a source of doing something naughty with their systems. This is usually because of a virus infection at one of the schools using the proxy.
bishopsgarthstockton Posted May 25, 2007 Author Posted May 25, 2007 While i was at the gym last night working on the six pack i was watching bbc news and they said that google want to customise the way we all search for bits and bobs. did any one see this?

Just checked the nod 32 management console on the server. no virus been flagged here. so i should be ok? or is the a virus on the cachepilot?
bishopsgarthstockton Posted May 25, 2007 Author Posted May 25, 2007 Virus on art machine... trojan, off to have a peep :walk:

If you have your AV under control then it's not likely to be you. It's probably another school in the area. As you all use the same proxies Google can't distinguish between schools and just blanket filters everyone in your area.
bishopsgarthstockton Posted May 25, 2007 Author Posted May 25, 2007 Yeh all looks undercontrol. well, only 55 minutes to go, so will leave it at that. cheers Geoff
