Wireless inkjet for home use?

My dad has asked me to find him a wireless inkjet. I hate printers and never seem to buy the right one. Can anyone suggest a printer that doesn't have expensive ink costs? Are the kodaks still recommended?

Kodak ESP C310 does a good job in my house. Kodak ESP C310 All-in-One Colour Ink-jet - Printer / copier / scanner

HP 3000 range are press good wireless printers and easy to set up.

 

HP Deskjet 3070A would be ideal and has a scanner too!

I resisted all-in-ones for a long time but eventually we got an HP Deskjet 3050 and it hasnt given us any trouble.

Several people I know have Kodaks and reckon they are quite expensive to run - also, the support isnt brilliant. My son brought one home from Uni belonging to a house mate because when it stopped working he was told by kodak that it was broken - my son, bless, thought "mum'll fix that" and so I had to look at it. After some research I upgraded the software and it is fine now....
