Little-Miss Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 Is there an easy way of doing this? I've got a set of netbooks that are running of a 2008 server here at hogwarts but my DC is 2003. I've seen there are some convertors available, do they actually work or is it a case of me going through them all?!

SYNACK Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 I think this is just for custom ADM files, the settings themselves are seporate from the ADMs and so they will show up under the correct settings under a newer editor that uses admx.

Well ive booted my first Netbook onto the domain and its logged in nicely but obviously there are bits i need to sort out/lock down in windows 7. Start Menu hasnt redirected, and My docs is there but its surrounded by the "Libraries" so i've got some tidying to do. Gonna check the Geek but any guides anyone recommends?

Little-Miss Posted March 29, 2012 Author Posted March 29, 2012 (edited) How do you guys manage a mixed domain? It's currently only 20 netbooks on Windows 7...shall i just pop GPOs into that OU?
