Does anyone know how to produce a SIMS report/export containing the relationship between Date and alternating timetable weeks (Week A / Week B)? I know the timetable system knows this and I can see it on the screen. I just want to be able to export timetables to Excel in such a way as to provide definitive dates and not just general A/B timetables. I tried to generate this by algorithm once, but my brain wasn't big enough!

Do you actually want to programatically get reports out of SIMS with that info on?

I'm not sure that's easy, but you can knock up something in Excel to give you a list of week start dates, with whether or not it's A or B, if that's what you want.

You'd have to work in blocks of half-terms to make sure that if your holidays break up the week, you know what week you start on when you come back.

You could even export the holiday day dates out of the SIMS School diary, but it's just as quick to write them down off the poster on your wall.
