have you opened the firewalls on the clients and the server

Yes I did in RM MMC and checks with the clients, it added the entry for port exceptions. Our SIMS server in Admin domain with trust with RM CC4 domain.

Did you install the agent manually (ie not via the s3 UI)? Sounds like one of the settings might not be right or the firewalls aren't correct. Check the logs on one of the agent, it might say it can't communicate with the DS

On CC4 I used .bat with .msi to allocate Solus 3 client. It installed the clients and says "There are no Capita SIMS software Updates to be insatlled" but I can not see the client on S3 UI but can see the admin domain clients are there, those I installed via S3 UI.

Where I can see the client logs?

many thanks

First one to check is the one in c:\Program Files\Solus3\AgentService.

Are the workstations XP or Win7?

All PCs are XP and the log I found says

2012-03-20 10:50:13.8728|Info|Agent Service stopped.

2012-03-20 10:55:57.7968|Info|Current directory: C:\WINDOWS\system32

Can you telnet from the workstation to the server - so open cmd then type: telnet 52965

Can you telnet from the server to the workstation - sso open cmd then type: telnet 52966

It should connect quick and the screen should go blank and no information is displayed, if you press return, you exit and return to the command prompt. If it doesn't, it's a firewall issue.

Tried and working as expected. Anything else I should check?

Tried to upload the Prt Scr, taking long time so cancelled it.

Could be something wrong with the Sims.Solus3.Agent.AgentService.exe.config. Check the bit in top address should be server, other two should be localhost. Is this logged with Capita?

Our server call BCHS-SIMS-SRV. The config is

Is it correct?

Yes, I did but still waiting for their call.

If you install using the batch file, you need to add the agents to solus on the server, it should then start installing SIMS if needed. (Update Environment (use SOLUS Agents instead of AD, and select the Agents that are reporting to the server))

Yes it is. Now I made the changes and can see the clients.

Many thanks for helping us with this.
