Hey everyone.

So in my office we used to use a web based booking system for IT equipment being loaned out across school. It was simple in that it had the days across the top horizontally and the periods of the day along the side vertically. We have since moved over to using the Outlook calendar in Office 2010, not sure why but a guy in our office thought it would be a good move and whilst I quite like it visually it obviously works in a standard day to day setting of those strange little things called hours, something most school workers have no concept of! We also have to enter the times when we had a booking manually and as our lessons aren't say 9:00 till 10:00 and vary throughout the day it can be a bit of pain.

So...

I wondered if anyone knew of a way in which you can customize the times that are used on the calendar to follow a school day and if possible set it so when you add an appointment (booking in our case) it picks up on the adjusted timeframes?

Many thanks

Hi AngryTech.

Thanks for that link, I have downloaded the trial version and set it up and I actually think that combined with setting the time frames I want to show from within Outlook Cal that it could work for us. It certainly makes it easier in terms of booking things in as it just attaches itself to that time frame. Again, thanks for the help.
