CALS for RDS Server 2008 R2

We're looking at setting up a RDS server using Server 2008 R2 (not virtualised) - am I right in assuming that we need to purchase both user CALS and RDS CALS for the box?

You should be already covered with the 2008 R2 Cals (assuming you already have 2008 R2). You will need additonal CALs for RDS yes.

do you use EES licensing? if so, only staff can use those RDS Cals.
