hi everybody i have 7 computers all on different operating systems and i was wondering would dansguardian web filtering work on old versions like windows 98 :?

Yes, it doesn't care about what OS clients use as long as they have a reasonable web browser. eg, Win98 can use Firefox or Opera.

The only place you'd hit any issues is authentication - but with a shenzi network like that I doubt you have AD etc.

 

As geoff said - its totally OS agnostic, the things we've had browsing via dg/Smoothwall Guardian don't bear thinking about.... lynx on a vt100 dumb terminal.. nokia communicator...
