Username variable in the 'Connect to' box?

Tried the MS website and a search on here, but it could take me all night - so:

 

Can you use the %USERNAME% variable in the Connect to box on the Profile tab of user properties in AD (Server 2k3)? I have just imported my first batch of users who all have home folders connected to S: drive, and I could do without editing each one individually!
