Help me convince my boss to upgrade printers

Been trying for a few weeks now to convince my boss to upgrade out very old printers (we have black lasers and a colour inkjet on a crap print external print server that don't work). He seems to think the only improtant thing is cost per page but trying to explain other benfits seem not to be imprtant.

 

We currely have HP Business inkjets 2800

and would like to replace them with brother hl-4040cn

 

Did a quick cost per page and seem pretty close maybe inkjet wins, but from experience i know they are crap and stats really don't work out in real life.

 

Any help or suggestions on technicas to get him come round would be very helpful

HL4040 are circa 7p a sheet I think.

 

What sort of volumes are you printing? Possibly a cheap mfd which are like penny per sheet etc

It does depend on what room but around 200 a week on average, what model mfd is that?

I'm currently creating a proposal so Ricoh devices but the volume is a lot more - 15k pages a quarter our 3 main It rooms use so therefore it's.viable at 0.3 pence per sheet plus a lease cost.
