jinnantonnixx Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 I'm no football fan, but I've noticed a little icon on the bottom-right of the screen which looks a bit like a pint glass. Sometimes it's full, sometimes empty. What is it for?

Sometimes it's full, sometimes empty. What is it for? It's to indicate that the pub is paying the pub rate for sports. Sky broadcast a different stream (With different adverts + the pint glass) for pubs. It means that they can tell if someone is accessing a dodgy stream or paying the home users rate just by having an inspector walk in the bar. 1
edutech4schools Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 Quite easy...set decoder to astra and tune accordingly can you use a sky box to do this?

Michael Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 can you use a sky box to do this? You cannot use a Sky box to pick up foreign channels. Sky and Freesat boxes will only work with Astra 2 28.2. Satellite boxes which support foreign channels will usually support DiSEqC.
