Adito \ Remote Desktop \ CALs

Having tried Microsoft's Remote Desktop Web Access and being less than impressed with it from an ease-of-use perspective we found Adito through the forum and have been really pleased with it from initial testing. It manages what Microsoft finds impossible and passes logon credentials to the Remote Desktop session seamlessly.

 

That's spot on for what we need but not 100% sure if we need RDS CALs to use it? I'm thinking that we do as the server will need the RD Session Host role installed?

Yes you do - an external connector is the easiest/cheapest way to do it - betweek £4/500 on EES i think

Adito is great I have it on a Samba server but we dont really use it, however it is no longer supported and will be no more new versions.
