Part Time Technician in Hitchin, Hertfordshire

Hi guys and gals,

 

Finally been given the nod to look for a part time technician. Hours to suit really, either a few hours a day or a few full days a week.

 

General duties will be quite broad. The applicant will get hands on with everything from break/fix of computers, networking (wireless, cabled, software). I am more than happy to let the right person have access to domain level bits and bobs too when trusted. I can throw in some phone work... plus the mundane stuff like toner replacements and 'my smartboard isn't working' type affairs.

 

Free lunch... that's got to be the decider.

 

We are a relatively small school, running a vanilla network in an MS flavour.

I'm not necessarily looking for loads of experience. A basic (but not too basic) understanding of IT would be great. More than happy to train 'on the job' as it were. So, not sure if there is anybody doing a college course etc.. that it might appeal to...
