Revised VAT 126 Transaction Extract - inclusion of Invoices/Credit

Notes based upon transactions having been entered into FMS rather than having a

status of "Paid".

 

Update Monday 13/02/2012

 

We have had reported to the Service Desk that where a site has applied patch

16679 that some transactions are duplicating on the August 2011 VAT 126 Report

when re-printed. We are investigating this issue as it appears that the

transactions in question have been entered in 2010/2011 and carried forward

into 2011/2012.

 

 

We have begun the process of contacting all Academies or LA support Teams who

have accessed the previous patch to inform them of this issue.

 

 

Whilst we are investigating this issue we decided to remove patch 16679 from SOLUS.

I will update this news item as soon as possible once we have completed our

investigations. I apologise for the inconvenience that this may cause.

Don't tell me that, i'm planning on running the Autumn update soon, and all these problems dont' give me much hope, even though i'm not an Academy.

The VAT126 only affects academies - there are 40 that have downloaded the fix and they will need to reapply that fix but it will be included in the spring release. Edited February 14, 2012 by PhilNeal

I'm torn between, wait for Spring, or take Autumn and all the patches / revisions that come after that. I wish there was the option to take Spring with all fixes and patches for previous versions but toggle off any new features, if that makes sense.
