Hi Guys,

I am running a CC3 Network,

I have created a standard RM Standard Disk, got it on the floppy and then booted to floppy,

So, I choose to rebuild the entire station,

enter in the station details,

then it says:

Found network card: Intel pro/100 ve network adapter

Testing the network connection....

File not found: a:\lmhosts

Initializing TCP/IP via DHCP......

Microsoft DOS TCP/IP 1.0a

NET0132: Unable to find file: C:\Net\lmhosts

Connection Failed.

Press any key to reboot the machine and try again

As anyone else had this problem or know how to fix this,

I am very greatful,

Thanks,

James

Is there a LMHosts file physically on the rebuild disk? If not create the file and inside put in the FR DC IP space then the Name (E.G 192.168.*.* ***-SR-001)

.

You need to put in this:

192.168.*.* ***-SR-001

192.168.*.* needs to be the IP of your server. [CC3 - you should only have one server. "ipconfig /all" while logged in to the server will let you know what you need to know] I think... Ours just works, I haven't had to mess about with it.

***-SR-001 is what your server is called. "ipconfig /all" will tell you that too. As it's CC3 all you need is the first 3 digits and the rest should be the same.
