macsit Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Hello, there's some adult contents in youtube when you browse for education and somehow it listed some short of nude/porno. At one of workstation, I enable the safety mode at the bottom of the page @ youtube. But how could I deploy all of the workstations to get the safety mode enable and lock it from student to disable it? Thanks, Jeff

darkest_star Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 We block Youtube for students and allow staff access, we use Planet eStream internally to record, save and deliver content, we are encouraging staff to use this instead of Youtube.
Hedghog Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 The BLOXX system has a media server add on that you can view and save youtube video content to, it also has with this an approvals system in place fpr peer reviewing. If you get BLOXX linked to AD you also can age segregate the video content (you have to have your AD OU structure right for this though
