Home Folder NTFS Permissions When Folders Already Exist!

Hi Everyone!

Does anyone know of a quick way to populate "home folders" with the users correct NTFS permissions when they already exist?

For instance:

user1 home folder does not currently have his ntfs permission set to user1-Full Control. He needs this and when trying the %username% command in AD, It errors saying the folder already exists and doesn't implement the user1 NTFS change.

I could do it manually, but for over 1000 users it'll take time. The current folders already include over a TB of data, so to recreate them and migrate will take time too!

Any help would be GREATLY received...... HELP!

I used a program called Ad Infinitum to do this. You could also do it by writing a script I believe, but I couldn't script my way out of a wet paper bag.

AD Infinitum Active Directory network administration multiple user manager tool for Windows 2000 and NT4

EDIT:

Actually I think you can only do this with creating users, but if the users are already there it will only update the information, so it may or may not work. :p
