Ok, so the SLT have bought a copy of the boardworks citizenship suite, this is then installed by our rm app wizard to a location called 'rmmultimedia' using the option to 'manage a multimedia title' and a link placed in the staff programs folder on the staff start menu. Then the location is added to the gpo trust centre for office 2010 so it doesn't get upset about the interactive content. This all works beautifully.

The problem comes when they run it. Any of the power point presentations that contain flash fail to run with a message about the active x controls possibly not being registered on this computer... this then breaks flash to the point that you tube won't work. At which point the ony way to fix it is to manually remove flash using the previous version removal flash uninstaller, and then removing the current version via add remove programs, and reinstalling from the downloaded standalone (ie, not the dynamic installer from the website) this seems to be working, but it's terribly labour intensive and our first line lady is going nuts! If anyone else has any experience with this i'd be pleased to hear about it
